Will come back when everything is more settled okay? Meanwhile you can email me if you miss me. LOL!

Happy New Year!

Just came back fr Aimee's countdown party & I'm now so full! I had a good day with my family and in laws yesterday (Hari Raya Haji), then at about 10 or 11, Yan had to go off to work. I picked Shima and Hazik up and we went to the count down party together.

Quite tired now so I better go to sleep.

Happy New Year again and may this year be a blessed one!

Salams!

It's been raining for a few days and it feels like good weather to snuggle under the blanket with my favourite pillow. Too bad, it's back to work today so I can only dream.

Anyway, had a good weekend. We played host to Yan's cousin from Malaysia who came to visit over the weekend and we brought him and his family to SENTOSA! Yessah, after so long, I finally stepped foot into Sentosa again and I had so much fun. Johan & family had fun too, especially his cute little son who kept sticking to me. Hmmm, ader makna tak? ;p

On Sunday, we brought them shopping. They wanted to go to Vivo City because they've heard so much about it so we brought them there. I'm quite impressed that Vivo's "popularity" has gone all the way to Malaysia!

Anyway, we went there after Zuhur and I think the second time I'm there, I'm more impressed with the place. Just as long as you know it's only a giant shopping centre with so many shops that you can't find in heartland malls, you'll be fine. Don't be like me. First time, I expected it to be like some special mall with special features so I was very very disappointed when I finally went there. LOL.

It was quite kecoh and very packed since alot of people were doing last-minute shopping so all we managed was a lot of window shopping and then went to Toys 'R' Us to look at the toys for Lil Zahid (Johan's son). Thought of staying to have dinner at BK but it was too crowded so we decided to go have satay at Simpang Bedok. The beef satay was yummy but the gravy was a letdown. Sigh. We also had roti john special, which is basically meat loaf with cheese, chilli padi and garlic. Not bad if you like to try different kinds of food but if you like the traditional one or cannot take anything hot/spicy, I suggest you go for their normal roti john.

After dinner, we took a drive around East Coast and then went home.

On Monday was rest day for me while Yan, Johan and the rest of the male cousins went out. In the afternoon, my MIL & I went to the market to stock up on the croceries but we were quite disappointed that alot of shops were closed. CHRISTMAS DAY LAH DEY! LOL. So we ended up just looking around at the pasar malam near my PILs' place. Reached home in time for Asar and I spent e rest of Monday watching tv with my MIL, until Yan came home at around 9pm. Then we went to sleep.

Early to bed, early to rise! I was the first one up today so I made breakfast for the family and took a train to work instead of asking Yan to send me like I usually do when we stay over at my PILs'.

Happy Tuesday you all, don't sleep at work ok? I know the weather is good for sleeping! LOL ;)

This was typed on Mon but forgot to publish ;p

Hello sorry for being gone long - a week?

I've been wanting to blog abot this.. On Sunday I had 3 weddings 2 go to right? 2 in e East and 1 in e North. Yan and I decided to go to the one in Hougang first and then make our way down to Bedok and finally the one in Tampines. The first two (Hougang and Bedok) was quite uneventful.. Good food and nice decor, esp. the one in Hougang.

After that we went to the wedding at Tampines. It was Yan's sec sch friend's wedding. We reached abt 3 plus and the couple were just coming back from the guy's side so we watched them walk to the dais before eating. Since we were still quite full, it was a good idea not to eat first anyway, thought we can go meet the bride and groom, let Yan and his friend catch up before we jamah the food served. Anyway, as the couple walked near where we were standing, I caught a clear view of the groom and I had to blink to make sure.

Guess what?? Yan's sec sch friend married MY EX BOYFRIEND! I was so shocked, I gripped Yan's hand and when he looked at me, I just shook my head. Then when the bride & groom were already on the dais, I was quite apprehensive about meeting them, esp. the groom because we broke up very bitterly (alah, the usual teenagers stuff lah, won't reveal too much. Both of us dah happily married pun).

But some things u cannot hide fr ur husband because he noes u so well (after almost 10 yrs, he better!). So I just casually told him (padahal dalam hati tgh panic pasal takut akan terjadi pergaduhan ke..) "Oh that's my ex-bf time sec sch dulu!" U should have seen Yan's shocked face. Not shocked because he didn't know I was so mentel, teenager-teenager dah ada bf. But shocked because the world is so small. Anyway, we let others approach the couple first while I take our time to compose ourself and by the time it came to our turn, I could have just slapped myself for being over in my reaction. LOL!

The groom was just shocked to see me and then when Yan explained to his sec sch fren, all of us suddenly burst out laughing and we ended up spending the longest time chatting with the couple. LOL! After we realized we were hogging them, we excused ourselves and they told us to let dem know before we go off. So in e end, both of us took our time to finish the food and left after the newlyweds came back in another dressing.

Very memorable day lah. Just goes to show that time really makes people mature and forget all the bad things that had happened, even ex bf & gf. :)
